Intervention Specialists

An intervention specialist is paired with each student who has an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Individual Service Plan (ISP). Support from intervention specialists could include behavior management, academic skill development and organizational support.

Special Education

Autism & Jon Peterson Scholarships - La Salle is an approved provider for the Autism Scholarship and the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship through the Ohio Department of Education. Scholarships attained through these two programs allow parents to select La Salle for their son’s high school education and use scholarship funds to provide special education services from the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

School Psychologist

School psychologists provide mental health services that address needs at school to help students succeed academically, emotionally and socially. The school psychologist is responsible for the evaluation process, testing accommodations for college testing (ACT/SAT) and more.

Speech & Language Pathologist

 The speech therapist provides large group, small group or individual therapy, covering multi-sensory techniques, pragmatic language skills and articulation for students with communication difficulties.

Related Services

OT, PT & Audiology - We contract with the Hamilton County Educational Service Center (HCESC) to provide Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Audiology.
