Retreats

Based upon the model set forth by Jesus the Christ and his understanding of the need to withdraw from the busyness of life in order to regain one's focus, La Salle places a heavy emphasis upon our retreat program. In order to encourage our students to adopt the practice of making an annual retreat, all students are required to make a planned retreat each year.

While we are confident that the retreat program at La Salle can provide strong, even powerful beginning experiences in a young man's faith life, we realize these experiences are at or closer to the beginning of his faith life. We trust that whatever seeds are planted, God will bring them to full flower in His own good time. We also realize that we serve non-Catholic and non-Christian students. No efforts are made at the retreats to convert students to Catholic Christianity and those of different denominations and faiths will be respected for those differences.
