ACT and SAT Intensive Prep Course

 

La Salle High School offers an ACT and SAT Intensive Prep Course

Students who are interested in taking either an ACT or a SAT Intensive Prep Course this summer or fall are asked to contact Mrs. Kathy Moroney at [email protected]. These courses are specifically offered for seniors and juniors who are testing for admission and/or scholarships. We suggest that students review the websites of universities of interest in order to see what the university’s policies are regarding these standardized tests. We have found the course to be most beneficial for students who are personally motivated to devote the time required for the sessions. Test preparation is no different than any other skill: The more the student learns and practices, the better the student becomes.

Our approach involves testing, skills review, problem-solving concepts and strategies and practice materials.
Courses will be determined based on student interest. We usually offer six course sessions with sessions lasting for 3-3.5 hours each.

The cost of the course would be $425 and would include informational and practice materials. Registration information would be provided after we review student interest and availability.

Following are the remaining dates for 2023 ACT and SAT tests. For registration information, the student should contact act.org for the ACT and collegeboard.org for the SAT.
