End of Year Senior Events Information

The fourth quarter has arrived and the graduation countdown has officially begun. Below is a list of upcoming events for the Senior Class. Please mark these on your calendars for planning purposes.

Week of April 1- Senior Packets Mailed

A packet will be mailed to the primary parent/ guardian of each senior. This packet will include information on graduation cap & gown, Baccalaureate Mass & Graduation reserved ticket request, senior picnic, and guidance office forms.

April 11 & 12- Cap & Gown Pick Up

Cap, Gown & Tassel will be available for pick up in room 205 on Thursday, April 11 and Friday, April 12 before school and at the end of the day. Students will need to try on their cap and gown for fit ASAP. Exchange information and instructions on care of the cap and gown will be given at this time.

Saturday, May 11 from 6:30 - 11 pm - Prom at The Phoenix

Doors open 6:30 pm; Dinner starts at 7:15 pm.  Tickets available at lasallehs.net/prom

Monday, May 20 & Tuesday, May 21 - Senior Exams

End-of-year exams in math, science, social studies, English, religion and foreign language.

  • Given during the regular 7 bell schedule; proctored by the class teacher 
  • Exams - Monday bells 1-4
  • Exams- Tuesday bells 5-7

Exemptions:

  • Any student (senior or underclassman) that takes an AP exam will be exempt from the final exam in that particular course/class
  • Any senior who has a 90% (or higher) average in a course for the year will be exempt from the final exam in that particular course/class

Any senior who is exempt can miss/be excused from that class/period on the exam day. Parents do not need to call in student. 

Tuesday, May 21 at 7:00 pm- Senior Declaration & Awards Night at La Salle

Completing the Senior Declaration is a requirement to graduate from La Salle. The evening will begin in the gym at 7:00 pm.  Some of the Senior Awards will be presented at this time.  Parents and students will be dismissed to assigned rooms to watch presentations of the Senior Declaration. 4-5 students will be in each room presenting their stories about their Lasallian experience and answer the question "What does it mean to be a graduate of La Salle High School?"  More information can be found here. The remaining Senior Awards will be presented in the classrooms.  The evening will conclude with a light dessert reception.

Wednesday, May 22 from 8 am - 2 pm- Mass of Thanksgiving and Senior Picnic

Seniors start the day with their fellow students at their last all-school mass in the gym. From there, seniors will be bused to the K of C sports complex on Blue Rock Road where they enjoy a day of food, fun, and fellowship. Please contact Kim Campbell to help.

Friday, May 24 starting at 9:00 am- Practice for Baccalaureate Mass & Graduation in Lancer Stadium

Attendance is required for all seniors. Students will practice for their Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation Ceremony starting at 9:00 am in Lancer Stadium. Baccalaureate Mass & Graduation Reserved Ticket and Parking Pass distribution will occur after practice.

Sunday, May 26 at 7:00 pm-  Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation at Lancer Stadium

Both a mass and graduation ceremony for the Class of 2019 at La Salle High School in Lancer Stadium. Information will be in the packet mailed in April.
