Kendall was recently selected to participate in the 2017-2018 Medical Explorer's Program. In this program UC Health offers participants the opportunity to learn about and be exposed to clinical as well as nonclinical health care careers. The program is also a partnership with the local Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America and offers exciting educational experiences in a variety of medical settings to high school students interested in working in the Medical field.

According to the program's website, "Students gain valuable insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of a variety of clinical and nonclinical health care jobs over the course of several months. Each session focuses on a specific service area ranging from Cardiology, Neuroscience, Physical/ Occupational Therapy to Marketing Communications, Hospitality, Food and Environmental Services."
