La Salle Athletic Department announced today that three Lancer student athletes signed National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at the next level.

The signing class includes two-time Football State Champion Jarred Uran and 2016 Football State Champions Kevin Swift and Deon Campbell.

Jarred Uran signed with the University of Akron football program and plans to major in Business Marketing. Jarred has earned many recognitions during his four years as a Lancer including 2nd team All-State, Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown MVP, GCL Linebacker of the Year and 1st team All-District. His parents are Angela and Chris Uran. They are members of Our Lady of Visitation Parish and reside in Green Township.

Kevin Swift signed with Tiffin University football program and has declared a major in Business. He earned the Bob Krueger Sportsmanship Award. His parents are Kevin Swift, Sr and Kristi Swift. They are members of Citygate Church and reside in Springfield Township.

Deon Campbell signed with Siena Heights University football program and plans to major in Education. He was selected 2nd Team GCL. In addition to his football accomplishments, he has excelled off the field. He has earned First or Second Honors every quarter since his sophomore year. In addition he has earned over 80 service hours. His parents are Dennis and Melena Campbell. They are members of Redemptive Restoration Church and reside in Pleasant Run.
