The La Salle Athletic Department announced today that Simon Leclerc has been named the next Varsity Lancer Lacrosse Coach.

Simon has over 18 years of experience with lacrosse. He started playing while in elementary school in Texas. His love of the game continued throughout high school where he was a two year All State attackman in Illinois while playing for Naperville North High School. He moved to Cincinnati to attend the University of Cincinnati where he continued to develop his lacrosse IQ through men's league play and coaching. Last year he was the Offensive Coordinator for the Lancer Lacrosse team.

"We have found a top notch lacrosse head coach in Simon," says Athletic Director Jim Barre. "His depth of experience in lacrosse with his leadership ability will lead our program to the next level."

In addition to coaching for La Salle, Simon also coaches for True Lacrosse Cincinnati, a select travel lacrosse program which was formerly known as the Cincinnati Royals.

Simon graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2017 with a degree in Industrial Design. He currently works as an Industrial Designer for Pixel and Timber as well as an Adjunct Professor of Industrial Design at UC.
