La Salle High School announced today that they have hired Brian Meyer as the next Athletic Director for the Lancer Athletic Department.

Brian comes to La Salle with over ten years of experience in athletic administrative positions. He has served as Athletic Director at both public and archdiocesan high schools for the last six years and is currently the Athletic Director at Purcell Marian High School. Brian will officially start at La Salle in July.

"We are excited to have Brian Meyer join La Salle High School as our Athletic Director," said La Salle Principal Aaron Marshall. "His experience and proven track record of success make him the ideal person to lead our Athletic Department. I look forward to watching Brian flourish among our students-athletes, coaches, alumni and school community."

Brian is a 2000 alum of La Salle. He continued his education at Miami University where he completed a BS in Sports Studies and Health with a minor in Coaching. Professionally he expanded his experience in Athletic Administration and is a Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) through the NIAAA (National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association).

"I am excited to return to my alma mater, La Salle," said Brian. "La Salle has a long record of proven success. I am proud to be the next Athletic Director of the Lancers and to continue to move the program into the future."

Prior to his AD positions, Brian worked as program director and recreation supervisor for local organizations. He also was a high school Volleyball coach, including five seasons with La Salle.

Brian lives in West Chester with his wife, Ashley, twin boys, Gabriel and Elliott, and daughter, Reagan. They attend mass at St. Susanna Church.
