La Salle Athletic Department announced today that six Lancer student athletes signed National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at the next level.

The signing class includes two-time Football State Champion Drew Nieman. Drew has signed with the University of Dayton for football and plans to major in Mechanical Engineering. Drew is recognized for his dual sport skills in football and baseball. He has received All-Ohio Honorable Mention, All-Southwest Ohio First Team Punter, GCL South Punter of the Year, and All-City Preseason for football. For baseball, he has received All-Ohio Honorable Mention, Baseball All Star Cincinnati Honorable Mention, and GCL South First Team. In addition to his athletic skills, Drew excels in the classroom. He is a member of the National Honor Society, has earned First Honors every quarter at La Salle and has earned the Algebra II, Physics, and Spanish I end of year awards. He is also active in his community earning over 170 service hours. He has participated in the Canned Food Drive, LYSIT- SWAP to Hindman, KY and a Kairos Leader his senior year. He is a third-generation Lancer including grandfather Drew Nieman '65, dad AJ Nieman '84 and uncle Brian Nieman '91. His parents are AJ and Beth (deceased) Nieman. He has two siblings: Joey '21 and Ellie. The family attends St. James White Oak parish and resides in Colerain Township.

Will McAlister signed with Marietta College for soccer and plans to major in International Business and Marketing. He has earned GCL South First Team, All-Southwest Ohio, Lancer Award and La Salle MVP. He is involved with service, earning over 400 hours, including service to his parish, participating in the Canned Food Drive all four years, LYSIT- Give Kids the World and a Kairos Leader his senior year. He has also earned academic honors multiple times. His parents are BJ and Chrissy McAlister. He has three brothers: Sam '21, Matthew and Zach. The family attends St. John the Baptist Harrison parish and resides in Franklin, IN.

Will O'Connor signed with Bellarmine University for swimming and has declared Business as his major. His swim stroke is the 50 Free and has earned him a Sectional Championship, a District Qualifier and TYR National Sectional Qualifier. He also excels in the classroom earning First or Second Honors almost every semester. He has many Lancers in his family including grandfather Pat O'Connor '66, dad Pat O'Connor '91 and uncles Jeff Brenners '87, Colin O'Connor '93, Tom Dodd '94 and Alan O'Connor '98. His parents are Pat and Amy O'Connor. He has three siblings: Kate, Maggie and Brady. The family attends St. Bernard parish and resides in Colerain Township.

Noah Weingartner signed with Thomas More University for baseball and has declared Business as his major. Noah is an outfielder and pitcher for the Lancers earning GCL South First Team and All-Southwest Ohio Honorable Mention. He is very active in his community earning over 320 service hours helping the Canned Food Drive, Down Syndrome Association, baseball camps and a Kairos Leader his senior year. His parents are Joe and Melissa Weingartner. He has two siblings: Shelby and Sam. The family attends St. James parish and resides in Colerain Township.

Thomas Williams signed with Mount Saint Joseph University in baseball and declared Sports Management as his major. He excels in the classroom as well earning First or Second Honors almost every quarter at La Salle. He has earned over 125 service hours including volunteering for the Canned Food Drive, baseball camps and a Kairos Leader his senior year. His parents are Michael and Heather Williams. He has two sisters: Catie Williams and Maddie Gundlach (Kevin '07). The family attends St. Ann's church, and he previously attended Our Lady of Grace Elementary School. They reside in Colerain Township.

Kodyn Lambert signed with Marian University in baseball and declared Mechanical Engineering as his major. He has earned First or Second Honors for half his quarters at La Salle. Lancer family members include two cousins: Curtis Bosch '05 and Dominic Bosch '10. His parents are Jeremy and Stephanie Lambert. He has three siblings: Sydney, Carlee, and Addisyn. They attend St. James parish and reside in Green Township.
