Four Seniors Sign National Letters of Intent

CINCINNATI, OHIO, February 8, 2018 – La Salle High celebrated the athletic achievements of Ryan Albrinck, Andrew Jaeger, Zach Rumpke, and Dylan Schraffenberger today for signing National Letters of Intent. This signing class includes two soccer student athletes and two football student athletes.

Ryan Albrinck has signed a letter of intent to continue his soccer career at the University of Evansville. Ryan has earned many awards including Frist Team All GCL and First Team All Southwest Ohio. He played in the Southwest Ohio All Star Game and was selected a Southwest Ohio All Academic. He has earned First or Second Honors every quarter his junior and senior years at La Salle. Ryan has declared Exercise Science as his major at Evansville. Ryan attended St. Bernard Taylor Creek Elementary School and is a member of St. Bernard parish. He is the son of Pat '83 and Sheila Albrinck . He has a sister, Ashley, who attends McAuley High School. The family resides in Green Township.

Andrew Jaeger has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Center College. Andrew is a four-year letterman in both football and track. His athletic accomplishments include 2017 First Team all GCL, First Team All Southwest Ohio, and Honorable Mention All State. He has started at center for two seasons, including the 2016 state championship season as a junior. Andrew has also excelled in the classroom with earning first honors each quarter of his academic career at La Salle. He has earned the Student Athlete Academic Excellence Award all four years. He has declared Biomedical Engineering as his major at Center. Andrew attended St. Mark in Indianapolis, IN and is a member of St. Ignatius parish. Andrew's parents are Joe and Nicole Jaeger. Andrew resides in Green Township.

Zach Rumpke has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at the University of Dayton. He has earned many awards including two-time First Team All GCL- South, Second Team All County, Second Team Southwest Ohio All District, 2016 Defensive Player of the Year, and a Team Captain his senior year. Academically Zach has earned First and Second Honors every quarter at La Salle and earned the Academic Excellence Award. He has declared Business as his major at Dayton. Zach attended St. John Dry Ridge and is a member of St. John's parish. Zach is the son of Doug '93 and Paulette Rumpke. Zach has a brother, Alex '17, and a younger sister. He resides in Colerain Township.

Dylan Schraffenberger has signed a letter of intent to continue his soccer career at Wheeling Jesuit University. Dylan has played soccer all four years a La Salle and was named to the 2017 GCL All Star Team. Dylan has excelled in the classroom as well by earning honor every quarter at La Salle and has earned the Academic Excellence Award. Dylan is also a member of our senior leaders program where he was a coordinator of the Canned Food Drive and participated in many nights of the event. Dylan has declared Business as his major at Wheeling Jesuit. Dylan attended Bridgetown Middle School and is a member of Our Lady of Visitation parish. Dylan is the son of Douglas '83 and Sylvana Schraffenberger. He has a younger sister, Jenna, who attends Oak Hills High School. Dylan resides in Green Township.
