France, optional add-on trip to England

VE has been invited to perform at the Normandy, France D-Day Memorial Parade and Musical Salute to the Veterans in June 2022. Click here for the tour schedule.

Historic Programs is a National Commemorative Partner and non-profit organization dedicated to honoring our veterans and educating our younger generations. They have been producing these officially recognized D-Day events for almost 30 years.  The Historic Programs and the D-Day Committee have invited La Salle High School's Vocal Ensemble to be an official representative of The United States in Normandy France in June of 2022. This invitation is based on VE's outstanding professionalism and their standing in our community.

The Parade will step off on June 4, 2022, in the French village of Sainte-Mere-Eglise, the first village to be liberated by American troops. The parade will feature active and retired military personnel, JROTC Units from across the United States, music ensembles, cultural and civic groups. In addition to the parade, Historic Programs will present two official public ceremonies, which will take place at the St. James American Cemetery on June 5, and at the Normandy American Cemetery on June 6, D-Day. It is anticipated that the La Salle High School Choir will perform official ceremonial music at both ceremonies and will join in a combined effort with other high school bands to memorialize all those who were laid to rest on the beaches of Normandy.

The final cost for the program has not yet been solidified and more details will be shared soon.
