Dominic Lanzillotta '06

La Salle's Veteran Appreciation Day Committee is proud to announce Dominic Lanzillotta '06 as the keynote speaker of the 2018 Veteran Appreciation Day.

Dominic is a Consultant for Deloitte Consulting LLP. He is currently serving the United States Department of Veterans Affairs’ Procurement and Logistics Office as a strategic sourcing advisor. Dominic also contributes to the firm’s efforts in employing veterans and helping them transition into the workforce.

Prior to joining Deloitte in 2017, Dominic served as an officer in the United States Army for more than five years. Upon graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2011, Dominic was stationed at Fort Benning Georgia, where he graduated from Infantry Basic Officer Leadership Course and Ranger School. After receiving his Ranger tab, he was stationed at Fort Bliss Texas, where he was assigned to 1st Brigade, 1st Armor Division as an Infantry Officer. In 2012, Dominic served one tour in Afghanistan, where he assigned as a Platoon leader responsible for more than 40 US soldiers, 30 Afghan villages, and 150 square miles.

When he returned to Fort Bliss in 2013, the Army assigned Dominic as an Executive Officer for the Anti-Tank Company within his brigade. In this role, Dominic was responsible for the supplies, maintenance, and planning for the 50 man company. Ultimately, this position led to Dominic’s promotion to Captain, when he became the Executive Officer for the Headquarters and Headquarters Company of 1st Brigade, 1st Armor Division. In 2016, the Army Honorably Discharged Dominic when he decided to transition to the consulting industry.

Dominic holds BS in Economics from West Point and currently lives in Washington, DC.
