Class of 1966 Challenge
Greetings from La Salle High School Class of 1966!
As you know, our class is planning our 50th reunion the weekend of September 30 – October 1, 2016. As a part of this, we have generated significant interest and momentum and we expect a tremendous turnout for the weekend. To learn more about the events planned, please visit us at: www.lasallehs.net/1966.
As our committee has worked through the reunion planning process, many of the committee members were amazed at how different La Salle is today than in 1962-1966. The advances in education, facilities and programs are truly inspirational and a sense of pride for all alumni.
Thus, as a part of the efforts in planning for this historic 50th reunion, the planning committee found it appropriate to organize a giving effort to support our alma mater, so that current and future Lancers can experience a Lasallian education.
With this in mind, the La Salle Class of 1966 50th Reunion Planning Committee is EXCITED to announce that one of our classmates has challenged our class with a $25,000 matching gift program. This donor will match donations from our class, dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000. The funds will be used for financial aid to current and future Lancers that have a financial need. The Class of 1966 can achieve this matching gift goal if we give generously to our alma mater. In doing so, it will enable us to take full advantage of this generous matching gift and provide a $50,000 gift to La Salle in recognition of our 50th Reunion. Consider making a generous contribution to help future Lancers who struggle to afford a Lasallian education.
To make a donation to this campaign, please send a check payable to: La Salle High School and use the enclosed envelope to send back to La Salle or go to: www.lasallehs.net/1966 and click on: Class of 1966 Challenge to make an online gift.
Finally, should you be interested in taking a tour of our alma mater prior to the reunion, please contact any one of us or La Salle directly to arrange a tour with the La Salle Alumni Office. To arrange a tour, please call Matt Dierkers ‘91, Director of Advancement at 513.741.2383 or email at email@example.com. It is truly an eye opening experience to see how our school has changed.
