Campus Renovations
Through the generosity of our benefactors, alumni, friends and family of La Salle, gifts to La Salle allow us to continue to provide updates and improvements to our campus. These updates, upgrades and improvements foster a positive learning environment for our students and exceptional facilities for our alumni and community to gather.
Recent updates
Through the Always Be Initiative, In October 2019, we received our largest gift in La Salle's history! Bob Dorsey, class of 1975 graduate, and his wife Lisa donated $2 million dollars to our Always Be initiative. As a result of this extremely generous donation and other major gifts from alumni and community partners, we were able to complete the following upgrades over the past four years:
- Fire suppression
- Abatement of older floors and ceilings
- Installing new windows
- Upgrading security technology
- Conditioned air in all academic and office spaces
- Upgrading and relocating utilities
- Updated second and third-floor classrooms
- Front facade facelift
- Creation and completion of the Alumni Heritage Room
- Expanded Spirit Shop
- New athletic offices
- New chapel and assembly chairs
- New desks and chairs in all classrooms
- New Fine Arts room added to the main building
- Upgraded full-court multi-purpose gym in the De La Salle building
- Permanent wrestling room and locker room in the De La Salle building
- Alumni Heritage patio
Planned updates for 2024-25
Through the continued generosity of our benefactors, the following updates will occur for the 2024-25 school year:
- Three first floor classroom upgrades
- New weight room in the De La Salle building
