The Remedial Math Prep course is designed to help students entering high school with smooth transition to high school math. The course will focus on algebra readiness skills. Topics will include fractions, variables, expressions, integers and others.

Remedial English Prep

June 12 – 16

Materials needed: a pen or pencil

Fee: $50

The Remedial English Prep Course is designed to help students entering La Salle with a smooth transition to high school English. The course will focus on American Literature (short story), note taking skills, critical thinking, as well as writing narrative, informational and persuasive paragraphs.

Summer Enrichment Program

August 14-16

9:30 am – 12:30 pm

La Salle High School Media Center

Course Instructor: La Salle Intervention Staff

Dress code: dress shorts and La Salle shirt or polo style shirt

Materials needed: none

Fee: $25

The Summer Enrichment Program is a mandatory program for all students in the CP tract or any student receiving intervention services. The program will focus on preparing the students for school to start the next week. Computers will be completely set of for all programs that will be used freshman year. We will review the summer reading assignment, work on study skills, and mentally prepare all students for the rigors of high school.
