Pride of La Salle update and sign up, 7/31/20
From the desk of Band Director, Steven Schwartz:
I have some VERY exciting news to share! We have student feedback in, I’ve met with administration and the Band Booster Board, and we are confident in moving forward with our 2020 season! Band camp will be from August 10th– August 14th - please check the schedule and rehearsal template/drop off times for more information regarding rehearsal times.
What you will need for band camp, and regular season rehearsals:
- Your own half gallon/gallon water jug – no sharing
- Your own lunch – no sharing
- Sunglasses (recommended, but not required)
- A hat (recommended, but not required)
- Wear lighter colored clothes
- Closed-toed gym shoes
- 1-inch binder with page protectors
Please review the following:
- Updated Schedule
- Safety Plan
- Rehearsal Template/Drop Off Times
- Marching Band Signups
- Final Forms link (You may need to create an account)
- Video detailing the documents
All students must be signed up, AND have filled out all of your Final Forms to attend rehearsals. Please review the everything included in this email, and submit any documentation necessary.
Parents - Christine Kreimer will be reaching out for volunteers for camp and rehearsals for temperature checks. Please let her know if you are available to help out with our safety measures. We are also in need of a few large canopies for shade as well. We appreciate your assistance, time, and dedication to the success and safety of the program!
Leadership team – please reach out to your sections and make sure that everyone has received this email and that they are completing the signup.
