Jeff Klei announces his retirement
Following a long career in safety and security at La Salle High School, Jeff Klei has announced his plan to retire after 34 years of service to the school. Both Jeff and his wife Donna have been an integral part of the La Salle community for more than three decades and have dedicated countless hours to keeping the La Salle High School campus safe and secure.
“As a ‘77 grad, it has been so great to be a part of La Salle and I have really enjoyed my time here overseeing security,” Jeff said. “It’s been a good ride.”
Jeff Klei worked tirelessly to ensure that every campus event was well staffed and supervised. The Kleis have been a part of every athletic event, Camelot Auction, Sports Stag and student/alumni function at La Salle and the school is extremely grateful for their time and dedication.
“Jeff always approached everything he did with the highest degree of diligence and dedication for La Salle High School,” Kelly Flerlage, director of HR/Finance, shared. “The school is beyond thankful for the work that Jeff and Donna have done for La Salle.”
“I will be forever thankful for Jeff’s expertise in managing security within our athletic facilities,” Brian Meyer, director of athletics, said. “He and Donna were a tremendous asset to the school.”
Jeff Klei will be assisting with the training and transition to a new head of security for the school.
