Walk

The La Salle High School Walk-a-thon allows the students a day to raise money for La Salle.

In the previous years, funds have been used to:

Air Condition the Cafeteria

Purchase New Lockers on the Third Floor

The funds raised from the walk last year allowed La Salle High School to purchase and install a new digital message board for the front sign. Nice job, Lancers!

If you have any questions about the walk, please feel free to contact me at 741 - 2359 or at afarfsing@lasallehs.net . Thanks for your support of La Salle High School.

2007 Walk

On October 31, 2007 La Salle High School participated in the annual La Salle Student Walk. We are proud to announce that this year's walk raised over 29 thousand dollars which will be applied toward landscaping in front of school and facilites improvements and upkeep. Great job Lancers! The walk route was from La Salle High School through Mt. Airy Park and back. Students were asked to collect a minimum of $35 in order to participate in the walk. Students who brought in $50 were eligible to receive one raffle ticket for the grand prize – a flat screen high definition television. The winner of the prize this year was senior Roger Rook--congratulations, Roger! View slides from the 2007 walk below.

The Sign is Up!

Thanks to the classes of '07, '08, '09, & '10 we will be able to post more and timelier information for all those who pass or enter the school to see. The new sign features scrolling displays and many graphical options to make the messages aesthetically pleasing and eye-catching. Special thanks goes to the Lancers who walked; Mr. Farfsing, the moderator for the walk; Mr. Luebbe, who allowed the students to choose what to walk for and encouraged them every step of the way; and to all those in the community who offered their support for the walkers!
