Purpose:

The Latin Club's purpose is to expand the understanding and appreciation of the Latin language and the Roman culture in a relaxed, fun, and friendly atmosphere. We occasionally join with McAuley's Latin Club to share some of our events.

 

Meetings:

 

The Roman Council meets after school the first Thursday of every month. These officers outline a plan of events and activities for the school year and work with the moderator to implement these plans.
The entire Latin Club meets after school the third Thursday of every month. These meetings range from activities such as preparing and sharing Roman foods to making and playing games that involve knowledge of the language and culture to watching films such as Gladiator and Ben Hur.
