"Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, Jesus said to the apostles, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." (Mark 6:31)
Based upon the model set forth by Jesus the Christ and his understanding of the need to withdraw from the business of life in order to regain one's focus, La Salle places a heavy emphasis upon the retreat program. Furthermore, In order to encourage our students to adopt the practice of making an annual retreat, all students are required to make a planned retreat each year.
