Junior Retreat"Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, Jesus said to the apostles, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." (Mark 6:31) In an effort to instill in students the discipline of retreats and spiritual renewal, La Salle has fashioned experiences that we hope will benefit our young men in ways that are appropriate to their age and situation. The Junior Day of Renewal seeks to address life and faith issues that are common to all teenagers, such as God, family, relationships and choosing values for life, and to help students understand that they are not alone in these experiences. While we are confident that the retreat program at La Salle can provide strong, even powerful beginning experiences in a young man's faith-life, we realize these experiences are at or closer to the beginning of our students' faith-life. We trust that whatever seeds are planted, God will bring them to full flower in His own good time. We also realize that we serve non-Catholic and non-Christian students. No efforts are made at the retreats to convert students to Catholic Christianity and those of different denomination and faiths will be respected for those differences. This Day of Renewal will be held at Moye Spiritual Center , a religious retreat house managed by the Sisters of Divine Providence and located in Melbourne , KY. Students will leave from school at the beginning of the school day and will return to school at approximately 4:00 PM . Junior Retreat Schedule
