Pride Flag winner
Show your La Salle pride and help your son's club or activity through the Spirit Shop's Pride Flag Program. The program is simple:
- Purchase a small decorative flag and stand for $25.
- Fill out the form with your information and what activity your son is participating.
- $7.50 of your purchase will go to the activity listed.
- Go home and place your new flag and stand outside your home.
- Once a month one (1) random form is pulled. We go to the house to confirm you have the flag outside your home. If your flag is seen, we take a picture to verify. The next quarter $100 is paid towards your tuition.
What activities are available for the Pride Flag Program? Any activity that is sanctioned by La Salle: sports, theater, band, choir, paintball, skiing club, LSI, etc. Last year over 20 organizations received funds through this program and 12 families received a $100 payment on their tuition bill. Several flyers and a poster are available in the shop and online at www.shoplasalle.net
explaining the program if you have additional questions.

La Salle finishes 4th out of 48 schools in Tech Olympics
orty-seven students from La Salle High School participated in competitions or acted in leadership roles at the INTERalliance of Greater Cincinnati’s TechOlympics the weekend of February 21-23, 2014. La Salle finished 4th
of 48 high schools in the competition which occurred at the Millennium Hotel.
During TechOlympics, students attended multiple career, college, and corporate breakout sessions, expanded their technology knowledge, listened to keynote speakers, and visited with business leaders while still competing in activities and displaying their Showcase presentations.
The La Salle team of Joseph Cadle, Tyler Harmon, Dan Scheid, and Andy Kah finished second in the prestigious Showcase presentation with their Health Care app development project for USI and Anthem. Also, competition points were individually earned by Eli Flerlage and Taylor Healey in technology competitions as well as the entire delegation for interacting during the breakout sessions.
La Salle students Anthony Wieck, Adam Moeller, Matt Bumpus, Jeffrey Bogenschutz, and Luke Doerger organized many of the activities for TechOlympics as part of their roles on the INTERalliance Leadership Council.
Thanks again to the 47 students who represented La Salle during the three-day competition. They did an amazing job of representing the school and its values.
Also, thanks to Jeff Royer and Luke Midkiff who helped chaperone the three-day, two-night event at the Millennium Hotel.
