Forcum , an employee of Beacon Orthopaedics is the Head Athletic Trainer for
LaSalle High School. Our team provides a complete range of sports medicine
services, including injury prevention & care, physician referral, medical
imaging, diagnosis and rehabilitation.
Currently, our team orthopaedic
physician Dr. Bob Burger, provides care to LaSalle High School, College of Mt.
St. Joe and Xavier University .
It is our goal to provide the best
sports medicine care to area student athletes and their parents. Our flexible
and extended hours, such as Saturday morning clinic hours @ the Beacon
Orthopaedic Center in Western Hills, demonstrates our real commitment to school
athletic programs, with a focus on your athletes and returning them back to

Dr. Robert BurgerDr. Burger is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio where he graduated from LaSalle H.S.
and went on to attend Notre Dame University on an academic scholarship. At
N.D.U. he played varsity football and was a member of the 1977 National
Championship Team. His honors included First Team Academic All-American,
National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete and the Dolly Cohen awards as the
top scholar athlete in country.
Dr. Burger has a special interest in knee and shoulder injuries and is actively
involved in education and clinical research in these areas. He is the Head Team
Physician and co-director of Sports Medicine at Xavier University - Cincinnati,
Ohio, team physician for the Cincinnati Reds MLB team, and Orthopaedic Surgeon
for the College of Mt. St. Joseph.
