Students interested in coursework through PSEOP are encouraged to consider the programs offered through UC’s Raymond Walters College. Straight “A” Tickets Once again, students who hit a home run academically can earn free Reds tickets as the Cincinnati Reds kickoff the 2010 Straight-A Program. La Salle students who earn First Honors for the second quarter will qualify for the Straight “A” Cincinnati Reds tickets. They will be able to select two free View Level tickets for one of the designated Straight-A dates on the Reds 2010 schedule. Half-price tickets are available for additional family and friends. Packets with information about the tickets will be distributed here at La Salle to qualifying students in February. Students must return ticket order forms postmarked by February 22.

Latest H1N1 Update: We have been notified by the Hamilton County Health Department that their personnel will be here at La Salle next Wednesday, December 9, to give the H1N1 vaccination to students whose parents completed and returned the Student Consent Form. Vaccinations will be given during the school day with the exception of those juniors on retreat and students in the Vocal Ensemble. These students will need to come to the gym for their vaccinations after they return to school on Wednesday. Parents, if there are any changes to the Student Consent Form that you completed (for example, your son has already received the vaccination) please call the main office at 741-3000 as soon as possible. We need to know about any changes by Friday. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Diane Eichhold, Principal’s Administrative Assistant at deichhold@lasallehs.net or 513-741-2342.

Ski and Snowboard Club Anyone can buy a Perfect North Pass through our ski club and save approx. 30 percent. See Ms. Saho in rm. 107 for the brochure or just go to perfectnorth.com and log in under clubs. Find La Salle and our password is meadow (be sure to use lower case). To get the reduced price you must register by Nov. 20 if paying with cash or check (make out to Perfect North and bring to me) or on-line until Nov. 22 at midnight. Friends, relatives, girlfriends, alummi are all welcome to get the reduced price through La Salle. We are having a meeting on Thursday 10/8 right after school in room 107 to discuss a ski trip.
