2005-06 Wrestling Results
December 3Congratulations to the Varsity Team which finished 8th out of 16 teams at the Kent State Invitational. Special recognition to Blaine Jones who finished 2nd in the Heavyweight Division, Nathan Weir who finished 3rd at 135lbs, Eric Lohbeck who finished 4th at 140lbs, Tyler Holthaus who finished 3rd at 152lbs and Kevin Keller who finished 4th at 171lbs. December 10The Varsity Team traveled to Roger Bacon High School to compete in the Roger Bacon Duals. The Lancers finished 2nd, defeating Western Hills, Northwest, Reading and New Richmond. Special recognition to Blaine Jones (275lbs) who was 5 - 0 with 5 pins. Gus Haas, Nathan Weir, Eric Lohbeck and Kevin Keller were also 5 - 0, Tyler Holthaus and Alex Woolf were 4 - 1 and Ben Vulhop was 3 - 2. The JV Team competed in the Lakota East Invitational. They wrestled hard but did not have anyone place. The Freshman Team competed in the Purcell Invitational. Logan Dillenburger finished 4th at 98lbs, Alex Naber finished 4th at 112lbs and Joe Hebeler finished 4 - 1but was unable to compete in the conso-finals due to the 5 match a day rule. December 13All of our wrestling teams competed against St. X. The Varsity Team lost 59 - 15. Victorious Lancers were Tyler Holthaus who won in double overtime, Kevin Keller and Blaine Jones both won with pins. The JV Team lost 60 - 6. Our lone victorious Lancer was Andy Dittgen. The Freshman Team lost 51 - 19. Victorious Lancers were T. J. O'Brien, Alex Klosterman, Ryan Volz, Joe Gettler and Kyle Sherry. |
