Academic Competitions

Throughout the year organizations, clubs, associations, schools and government entities present opportunities for students to apply their unique skills to contests and competitions. There are usually monetary and recognition components associated with the competitions. These opportunities are either continuously offered or newly created. Listed below are several of these offerings that have come to La Salle and a link to a national meta site that attempts to catalog these opportunities at the local and national level.

A selection committee will review the entries and select five finalists.  The five finalists will be invited for an informal reception with Mr. Edward James Olmos and will receive a $100 gift each.
