A Message From the Principal
La Salle is truly a very special place. We are a second home for the young men who are fortunate enough to be called Lancers. It was Emerson who wrote: "Nothing great can ever be achieved without enthusiasm." Our students are challenged to achieve high levels of success by giving their best enthusiastic effort. Pride is not simply a word; it's an attitude that leads to greatness!
La Salle High School is made up of many parts: students, parents, families, faculty, staff, administration, parishes, alumni, benefactors, friends, and community. Together, we sincerely care about each other, share our heritage and tradition, and live our lives celebrating our Lancer legacy and our Catholic values.
Leadership, scholarship, faith, service and community - each of these five foundational words carries a mighty significance. St. John Baptist de La Salle emphasized the development of a strong Christian spirit in his students. Today, we foster that belief through the Catholic education of our Lancers. Our faith is the cornerstone of our Catholic identity as a Lasallian school. As followers of Christ, our Lancers are challenged daily by our highly professional faculty, staff, and administration to deepen their faith in word and deed, to excel in learning so as to prepare earnestly for college, to step forward in using their talents as leaders of themselves and others, and to comprehend their opportunities and responsibilities as a member of a family of families - past, present, and future.
Our philosophy rooted in the Lasallian tradition of providing an outstanding education for the whole person of every student - mind, body, and soul - is richly at the essence of our existence. Proudly, our Lancers of today are enjoying countless benefits as they wear the same red and white worn by our alumni.
Thank you for visiting our website, and I hope you enjoy your tour of La Salle.
St. John Baptist de La Salle - Pray for us.
Live Jesus in our Hearts - Forever.
We are - Called to Serve.
Forever, know that I care . . .
